Hi, is there any website that describes and had pictures of the various Leiocephalus species? We have one at the PetsMart I work at, and I really like him. He's on bed-abeast, and dug a cool tunnel. He's eating small crickets, and we've had him for about 6 months, he got impacted on calci sand (the [bleep]ing cashiers set him up when there was no Pet Care people lol), and then got an eye infection, but we fixed him up, and no hes doing real nice. He is about 6 inches with tail, and really funny. Any caresheets? Thanks

Don't know of a website on the genus, but there was an article on them in the July 2002 issue of Reptiles magazine. The species I am seeing in the shops lately is L. personatus, the Haitian curly tail. According to the article their care is as follows: 6-8 inch deep loose sand substrate, temps between 70-100F with hot spot available, at night allow temp to drop. Basking rocks and water bowl, mist regularly, provide UV.
