I heard that excessive breeding can prevent a turtle from laying eggs. Is this true?
If the male is constantly badgering the female, then yes, this is true. The female should have appropriate laying sites, all round great husbandry, and if the size of the enclosure doesn't allow solitude, then remove the male. I find that my male rarely follows my female on the land however.
