I've never in my life seen a ground snake that looked like that. Color morph maybe?

Thats amazing looking. Looks like some type of desert snake instead of a ground snake.

I was in the Guadalupe Mountains in NM and flipped a rock. At first, I thought it was a ringless regal ringneck (the ones here are a light grey-silver color), when I grabbed it, it had white colored ventral. So I knew it was a Sonora. It's the only one I've ever seen that color, and I've found LOTS of them. Cool looking snake.
