Bradypodion thamnobates

Also called the Natal Midlands Dwarf Chameleon. I hear that no one in the US works with these little guys, but that they are kept in Europe. Is this true? What would the chances be of bringing in some CB specimens over from Europe? The LeBerre book made them seem like an intriguing project.

There are sometimes a few around, but they are usually wc and can have a lot of stress related health issues. To import them you would need CITES permits yourself (expect this to take several months) or find an exporter in Europe who already has the required export/import permits needed. You could write to Kammerflage Kreations to see if they know of an importer who does work with them.

Try www.chameleontradehouse.nl . They are based in the netherlands but can ship here to the use. The get lots of species that we don't get in the US (Including Bradypodion thamnobates). They have LTC of many different species as well as cb animals. Good luck.
