Boiling water for disinfecting caging material

Langi May 23, 2005 10:26 AM

How long do you need to boil caging furniture like wood from outside, aquarium gravle, and used water bowls and rocks. I'm setting up a fire bellied toad tank so I thought boiling would be better then using bleach. Thanks.

You can avoid all of that by using chlorhexidine...
