I have had him for a week now, he has finally realized I am not gonna kill/eat him (or her). He will sit and walk up and down my arm, cocking his little head, looking in my eyes, as if he's thinking..."who is this lady, and where the hell am I".
But he seems VERY healthy, eating very well. Goes for the food bowl as soon as I sat it down.
Right now he is in a 10 Gal. I have a nice cage waiting for him in the other room. I think in about another few weeks, he will have grown enough to where he cannot sqeeze through the small rectangular squares. It's a nice cage w/three levels, similar to ferret cage, with coated wire. I fiqure it will last him long enough until I can get him a custom one built. I figure he can comfortably live in it until about one year old. Right now it "swallows" him up, looks huge, but I know how fast those little green babies grow!
God bless people that take abused reptiles in...I used to do that too. Maybe again in the near future I will start doing that again. It's A LOT of work, but rewarding.
