Hi,

I have had several years experience with reptiles (currently have 2 Leopard Tortoises) and I have been in love with the Rhino Iguanas for some time now (actually about 5 years) and I would love to have one. I would definately would make sure I knew what I was doing before getting one. I did have 2 questions, what is their full grown size and what are their temperaments? Can they be temperamental like the green iguana?

3.5' to 4.5' long depends on the sex and parents and husbandry. 25 lbs is a big animal. I have heard of heavier. Temperment can be all over the place. They have the potential to really mess you up or follow you around the house. They are normally pretty good tempered but you never know, they are individuals. A lot has to do with you and how you socialize the rhino. They can really test your patience but they are worth the work, imo.
