man where exactly did you find him he looks so identical to my male it looks like it could be a sibbling.
We found him in Red Rock, since he was in the park he's probably no relation ;0) But, he's very typical of the males that I've seen in part of the mojave.

well i have caught many male chucks from southern nevada and california, and i also own a few, and out of all the chucks ive seen, this one looks very similair to one i caught around beaty nevada.
Too bad we didn't coordinate.
My son had a Judo tournament in Barstow (placed 2nd) and he just had to walk around those 100° rocks LOL! Anyways, we caught a hatchling at Ft. Irwin and a HUGE juvinile redback in Victorville. It was the biggest chuck I've ever seen by far and it still had tail bands visible! Too bad we've only been finding males lately. There fun to find and so easy to catch that we can't pass up a chance to peek into a few rocks when were in the neighborhood Hahaha!
What a FINE looking male you found yourself, he looks so good!
I like the big ole males, great coloring on him too!
