I saw an anole today that had a fin going down it back, it definatly wasn't a green and the only other anole I know of in the Houston area is the brown. Any ideas?

I saw an anole today that had a fin going down it back, it definatly wasn't a green and the only other anole I know of in the Houston area is the brown. Any ideas?
Mature male Brown Anoles (and some Green Anoles) have a mid-dorsal crest that they erect to look larger and more imposing. This display is usually in conjuction with a dewlap display but not always. There was either another male around that he was trying to intimidate or a female that he was trying to attract.
