Well, it has been quite a while since I have posted a pic of Luna and thought that after all her troubles and all the support from her devoted "Lunatics" I show her off.

She climbed to her favorite drinking spot (under her dripper) and "asked" me to turn on her humidifier - she looks at me, then up to the cage top, then back at me, then back to the top until I turn it on and adjust her dripper. She is doing great! Eating silkies, lots of veggies - favorites are strawberries, butternut squash and cherry tomatoes - and I have her on an every other day feeding schedule and will back off to every few days to maintain her current weight.

Yeah, she really is a cutie and the way she holds her mouth half open (not from MBD, her brother does the same thing makes for some great pix! I have a lot of shots of her on webshots.com (under user: 13lele) and in the KS gallery. I still take a lot of pics but all my efforts were directed to her troubles so it was fun to get some healthy shots - I wll post more often.

Darwin is doing great!!! He is in his first full body shed since I got him (has been doing the bits and pieces, very different from a young cham) and I got him with food in his beard yesterday. He is 9" and 40g up from 6" and 16g on April 20th! He is eating silkies, crickets, bok choy, basil, butternut squash and green pepper (the rosemary just sticks to his "beard/shed". I bath and mist (he loves!!) him daily to help with shed. Here's his funny beard photo (more in the gallery) Oh, the "A"...it's girls only. It happened unintentionally. I had two cats named Svette Lana and Justica (jus-TEE-ka) many years ago, the next cat I got was Akira (who died 6 days after getting her then Kyndra. That is when I realized all had ended with "a" so I made it a tradition, my anoles, geckos, tarantulas all end(ed) in "a" the only current exception is Skippy my frog b/c when I got him/her I was told he was a boy and he came with his name (Skipper) - have to do a rename now that I see she is a girl! Darwin is the ONLY boy in the house! Even my hissers are girls! lol!

thought I had changed it!! Now I need an "A" name for her. She'll be moving to a larger tank soon so I will see what develops - I sort of see her as cross-gendered right now lol! Well, heck - it's been almost a year that I thought she was a boy!
