Reptile Leashes

Does anyone have a reptile leash? Are they safe and secure? Also, what type is best...i've found 3 different kinds, one being a "biker jacket" (which obviously caught my attention!!)

I used a $.99 drink cozy (it has foam on the back) and a $.99 cat collar for the clasp and D-ring. I also bought a cheap retractable leash (meant for small dogs). All total I have about an hour of my time and $3 invested. not too bad.
