Quick question...

When you guys breed your BRBs do you always see them copulate? Also, with my Savus, there is a lot of cloacal gaping, does this type of thing occur in the Epicrates? Thanks everybody!!

They sometimes leave clues, mine tend to act like randy teenagers, knocking everything over and pushing everything around. I have observed the process and WOW, from the raking with the spurs (I was amazed by how much they rotate, over 180 degrees) to full on copulation. If there are two males together, lost of pushing and shoving till one establishes dominance.

Hello !

Timothy,

I am new to breeding, but will share my observation.I have only had my BRB's for a short time and for the last three years (03, 04, and the beginning of 05) I have witnessed numerous copulations. I asumme for each I actually witnessed there was at least one other that I missed. I was fortunate enough to have my pair produce viable litters in '03 and '04. I'm not really clear on what your question is, or if it just observations you seek. That's just what happened with mine. Glad to have you.

Linda
