I like both coloration but I read and heard that Mexican Blacks are the tamest kingsnakes. Both animals have pros and cons but I want your opinions, which one would make the best pet.

I like both coloration but I read and heard that Mexican Blacks are the tamest kingsnakes. Both animals have pros and cons but I want your opinions, which one would make the best pet.
Mexican black kingsnakes on average are the least likely to musk as adults compared to albino Cal kings. Both make good pets though. Both are Lampropeltis getula ssp and so they will both have behavior characteristics that most getula have, i.e. kind of aggressive as babies, freely ejecting musk, urates and feces on you when held (as babies) and an unbelievable feeding response.
Get what you like. If you really want a snake to be calm, get a cornsnake.
