Hi, I am in the middle of purchasing 2 new tegu's I BW Boy and 1 BW Girl. He sent me a picture of the pair he found in his ranch. He said he found these two together and they hang out quite often. i asked him if he could cut me a deal on the male because he was so much smaller then the female. He said he could try to find me a bigger male if i would like. His prices are already so low i decided to take the small male and not break up the two. Looks like there will be a good change of these two having babies one day. :0)
My concern is for the male though, I'm new to tegus but not lizards. With the male so much smaller i need some expert advice on how to handle this. I think i will separate them at feeding time.
has anyone else bought from Bert and how were the tegus when they arrived? were they aggressive from free roaming on his ranch or pretty tolerable?
i wanted also post the picture of the two. I wanna thank everyone on this forum who has helped in the past and show them the new arrivals! I'm such a prde parent now hehehehehe
