Hello everyone
I have an ATB (male) that has been in shed forever.... (at least it feels that way)
I recently moved and I think the move has impacted him in more ways than I ever thought.
He had a bad shed last month and I had to place him in a sweater box with a wet towel so he could remove his shed...
I also took a little bit of mineral oil - put it on my hands and rubbed his body with it and removed the rest of his shed...
He is now in shed again and it is yet another bad shed! It's killing me to see him look like that. Poor little fella..
He is in a 16x16x20 herp cage (BARRS) with newspaper as substrate, a bowl of water, and 2 perches for hanging out. I also have a black light on top of the cage to provide heat...
What can I change in his set-up to make him happy again. He eats and defecates with no problems.
Please provide some suggestions as I want him to return to his normal self again...
