Eggs!! Eggs!! We've got eggs!!!

JM May 24, 2005 11:02 AM

I've been expecting these~ but the excitement of actually finding them is unbeleivable! This is the FIRST BP clutch here!!! The parents are two possible het Axanthics I got from Damion Wyatt in 02.

Aren't they beautiful!! 6 beautiful eggs! I don't know what to do with myself now~ I can't wait to see what is in those eggs!! (Ball pythons silly!) The next two months are going to kill me!! Now if the Het Pieds would just do as well!!!!!!!

I buried the eggs with barely moist vermiculite/perlite mix because it works well with corn eggs

I wouldnt bury them all the way like that...... Careful you might kill them that way....

Just my .02 cents

Should I unbury them? I was trying to keep the shells from drying out and making it difficult for the babies to cut the shells in two months. I have the room in the incubator~ I'll put them in two containers and leave some of each egg exposed. Is that what needs to be done?

Most people bury them only half way.... others use the no subtrate method...

I have never seen anyone bury them all the way....

If you have good humidity in your container there is no reason to worry.

I would change them

Here is how I set them up.
