Is the warm weather ever going to get here

casesilva May 24, 2005 01:12 PM

I can't believe it almost June and it is no where near 70 degrees here. I am sick of this rain and my chuck and tortoises are really giving me the evil eye - they want sunshine!!!
I think I need to move to Arizona

Does anyone else live in the NorthEast???

Rhode Island here.

I can't stand it anymore. It only was 45 degrees today and it is almost June. It has been raining for about 2 going 3 days now. The wind is so bad 40 - 50 mph. I should of got Eskimo Dogs instead of reptiles LOL!!!

It was foggy this morning but it got pretty warm here near Long Beach, Ca. I'd guess about 75°. Seems like the earth has been in a cooling phase so far this century! The black outs from the weather in '03, Charley and Co. in '04, and Florida is supposed to have the same hurricane weather again this year. Charley was quite an experience but I don't think I want to do all that again. Any chance of getting the Daytona Reptile Expo moved somewhere drier? This will be my 2nd year there as a vendor. I hope I make enough to pay my airfai this year, sheeeesh!

You should move to Texas... It's freakin' hot and my chucks are lovin' it. My new 8' X 10' outdoor chuck pen is really working out great...the animals are doing awsome and alot of my desert plants are taking root. Our temps have been in the mid 90's lately.... chucks bask most the day...

Hopefully your temps will raise soon! Good luck!

I should move there. I like the warm weather. I have had ENOUGH of this coldness. I can't even remember last summer it seemed like years ago LOL!
Not only is my chuck waiting to go out, but my Leopard Tortoises can wait either.
