we posted a week ago about our mali uro not eating or [bleep]ting. well, we gave him a warm bath and he passed a huge b.m. we repeated the bathing once a day for five days and he passed two more normal sized b.m.'s. he's since then twice nibbled on some food but still hasn't eaten normally as he did before his problems all started. he spends most of his time in his burrow. we've tempted him with foods that seemed to be his favorites but he still hasn't really been eating. is there any way we can coax him into eating? would the baths still be theraputic for him even after he's seemingly passed all his [bleep]? what could be some possible reasons for his not eating/hiding?
thanks!

Sounds like you need to consider force feeding. Your vet should be able to get you the materials and show you how.

Loaded with parasites is a normal possibility. If you've got the fecals, get them to a vet for parasite analysis and treatment if necessary.

My first thoughts from what you describe are to get a fecal check done (as mentioned) and to triple check your temps. Some of my uros like it hotter than others, too, so you might fiddle with them a little up or down to see if that makes a difference. I don't remember if this is a new uro to you, but if he's in a brand new environment it may take him a little bit to get over his shyness.
