A big hello to all my forum buddies!

drummagirl May 24, 2005 04:43 PM

Wow, seems like forever since I've talked to any of you...oh wait, that's because it has been forever

I just wanted to say :"Hi!" to everyone and see how life was treating all of us blood fans. All my critters are doing great, although I'm in the process of 'redoing' my collection. Due to time and size constraints (just moved BACK to where I moved from!) it looks like I'll be keeping two of the short tail family and I'll be keeping the two boas I now have. It sucks having to downsize, but its better for the animals...I ended up spending all my time cleaning instead of actually enjoying the beautiful little buggers. ( I had the best time a few days ago...laid outside in the grass, sunbathing with Big Red. The cutie had his head on my belly, we just laid there enjoying the summer weather...reminded me of why I love these animals!)

I have a bunch of pictures I'd love to show everyone, but dummy me lost the cable to my digital camera Working on getting a new one! BTW, I'd love to see how everyone else's critters are doing! (Congrats again on the babies Jody!)

Life is going GREAT..working over 50 hours a week, but I still find time to have some fun! I turned 21 two weeks ago, w00t! Then me and some friends spent the following weekend in Vegas baby!!! I gotta move there someday

Anyways, I have quite a bit of computer access at one of my jobs, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to visit with ya'll on a regular basis again....I miss this forum, it's a fun group!

Hope everything is going SUPER for everyone, I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone is doing!

Carole

I know what you mean on cutting back some, I think I will try that a little this year myself. Congrads on turning 21, what a great place to be in life. Funny how that age flew buy for me, and now I think my four year old son will be that age tomorrow! Have fun and glad to see you post again. jody

Thanks I'm just glad I can finally go spend an evening with all of my friends (most of which are 23-24) without them having to either not go to the bar, or me spending the evening keeping a VERY nervous lookout...not that i'm suggesting I ever did that

Is your 4 yr old another aspiring reptile hobbyist?

How are all the borneo and blood babies doing?

Later!
Carole

:hangs head in shame: "I would like to extend my deepest apology..." :P
It really does make the hobby a bit more fun when you're involved in a forum or two...it can get a little lonely!

ha, if you're ashamed of me now, I won't even mention that boas are starting to compete with bloods as "Favoritist, more enjoyable snake" hehehe

Good talkin to you again...hey, did you graduate this year? I remember you being a fellow college student. I've still got another year...or more, if I don't get my butt in gear.

Boas.. competition phhtt.. your joking right? OK.. I like boas too.. but really there not anywhere close to bloods!

And yes I'm graduating in August.. if I pass all my summer classes, I'm taking too may mesters right now. Good luck on your senior year, I hope you were smart unlike me and got all the hard stuff out of the way!

Ha, I'm one of the biggest procrastinators you'll ever talk to....I put off physics and chem until my senior year :S I'm trying to get some classes knocked out of the way this summer though. You got any plans for after graduation?

Aww, come on, have a little love for the boas Its amazing how completely different of animals the bloods and boas are...but that's what keeps it fun take care,

Yea... I'm taking two maymesters right now and I have to take biology and another upper level econ after this... I dont really have any plans just try to find a job I guess. I'll probably take a few months before I start looking and work at my old pizza joint, and get some new cages set up and stuff. I think I may have had a bit tooo much fun my first few years of college and am paying for it now. Hope your senior year turns out ok and you dont have to sell too many of your snakes. Stop by and say hey every once in awhile girl!

Great to see you posting, what short tails are you hanging to, I don't know how many you have, I hope you don't have to part with any of them though.

drummagirl May 29, 2005 09:09 PM

Sorry about the late reply!

I'd actually like to keep just Big Red and Rockstar...it isn't as much fun that way, but I think it would be the smartest thing to do. Now I just have to get myself to put the others up for sale. I'll hate to see them go...and selling/shipping is such a pain in the a$$!
