feeding question

im a ball python newbie.ive bred dozens of reptiles including other snakes but no balls. any way my 5 week old female ball just ate 2 small mice.(just opened there eyes today so i believe they're called "hoppers"my question is when should i offer more? i do plan to breed her in a few years so any help would be great.

You want to feed a food item big enough that you see the lump in the belly for at least a day. I usually feed a big enough food item or a number of food items that will make a bulge in the belly for a couple days. If a couple hours after feeding you can't even tell your snake ate anything then you will want to increase size of prey item or increase the number you give your snake.

When they are young I feed them as much as they care to eat. Try every 4-7 days. They will not over eat so no worries.
