False uromastyx / Zenagama taylori * Chiumbos mail order bride

PHEve May 25, 2005 10:42 AM

Chiumbo has waited a long time, and finally has taken a wife, her name is Cheeku, and she is longer than he is and is shedding, but very sweet looking.

She has a very reddish head and face. I wanted to get some quick pics of them for my site. She should really not be with him yet.

Can't imagine how cute and small the babies must be, LOL

Adorable! I have been thinking about getting a trio 1.2. I was reading through Glades Herps care info and they indicated they are colony breeders, so I am thinking two girls. Where did you get your second one from? What is her name? What size cage are they in? Thanks for sharing.

They are the cutest little things, about 3- 3 1/2 inches hehehehehe

Anyway I have them in a 20 long, PLENTY of room, rocks, sand/potting soil they eat crickets/ worms, but my male loves his salads everyday just like the uro's. And cleans his plate.

I got both ot them from McGrath Reptiles, good guy, wanted the female around Christmas but he said she was a bit thin and wanted to work with her.

Anyway I have bugged him every month since and she was finally ready last week, so now shes here

I'm excited about having the pair, most adorable lil creatures, hehehe.

Hello! They are a gorgeous pair. I am a uromastyx lover, and was wanting to read a little info on these guys. I tried typing in 'false uromastyx' as well as 'zenagama taylori' because that is what you have typed in the subject box. Is that the correct name? I just cannot find anything at all on these guys and was interested in reading on them. Any recommended sites would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and congrats on your new little lady.
