how will my leo act

i just got my leo home aout 5 hours ago and its picked the cork bark hide in the middle of hte tank and has just stayed there. it keeps sorta sleeping a bit then becoming alert and staring then doseing again is that ok? sorry im ust paranoid

That sounds normal, just give him/her time to settle ok. Hope this helps.

Yea make sure you let him/her settle in for atleast a week. Don't handle (S)he or mess with the tank too much.

They sleep a lot in the day. Let him be for a few days, he is stressed out today.
To be sure he is not ill, take his first poop to the nearest vet for a fecal exam. It is the only way you'll see him dozing off and be sure it isn't because of illness...

im just paranoid and wanted clarification it was normal i was pretty sure it was (its 10pm here so its nt liek its day

You could try feeding him tmrw if he dont eat then try again the next day ok.

Depends, some geckos settle in rather quickyl other take a while. I had one start eating the first day and then another one took 3 weeks to eat. An average would be about a week.

it did have a rather stressful car journy very hot but i kept letting fresh air in. and the tub he was in tipped on its side and then it kept squeeking. so i made sure i held it myself for the rest of the journy and he was happer stll squeeked somtimes roudn sharper corners or over bumps. my dad wouldnt beleive me it wa the gecko i tld him tho

The gecko squeaked?? Geckos don't usually squeak...the babies may make a screaming noise and they make a chirping noise but I've never heard of them making a squeaking noise....

it was in a box in a paper bag plus the noze of the engin so it was kinda muffled. it was just a high piched noise
