Got a little scare on day two when three of the eggs started to shrink/crease up a little. I added a little more water (even though the ratio was perfectly measured prior to placing eggs), and waited. It took almost three days, but all of the eggs that were creased recovered and are starting to firm/swell up. All eggs are bright white and everything is going great.
I'm watching my Okeetee laying eggs - she's currently on # 22 and still has a few more to go. Also had a local female lay 15 two days ago, but nine of them were slugs. . . Oh well can't win em' all! What really counts is that the golden corn laid zero slugs!!! 13 out of 13 good eggs!!! I can't wait - I can't wait!!! (50 something more days) LOL!
