Hello,
Ceaser our 4th green iguana, im guessing his age to be about 4 or 5 years old, absolutly perfect in every way, he is very social, not fidgety at all even around kids and the other animals, has developed his own schedule and absolutly positivly despises the color yellow, if i wear yellow he attacks it, he goes after my sons toys that are yellow, and just generally shows an absolute hatred of the color,

Ceaser lives in my bathroom most of the day witht he ability to come out and free roam, i have to limit that when im not home because i have another male iguana older than him and they hate each other,

we recently were able to start remodeling the house after the hurricanes, the first place we have started is my master bathroom which s enourmous and ceaser loves it in there because he has so much room, well the bathroom used to be purple, but i have since changed it and not even thinking,,,,,,,,,,,,,painted it yellow,,,,,,,,,,,,,well now that the paint has dried and theres no smells in there he is sitting on top of the shelf looking around and looking around, he almost looks like hes ready to have a panic attack because there is so much yellow, lol i feel horrible, and now that ive got the 2nd coat on and ready to do some finishing touches i realize i must now repaint the bathroom a diffrent color,,,,,,,,,,,,,or hope that he gets used to it, i really dont want to leave it yellow if its going to freak him out every day , does anyone have any idea if its ok to leave it the way it os or for his poor little lizard sanity should i change the color?

Whenever I wore blue or green my iguana would try to get on me and bite. He also hated my blue bath mat and would attack it all the time. I believe they can see color and have preferences.

Heh, it'd suck to have my igs hate black. All my shirts are black. I know, i'm a troubled mind. -tear-

If it were me I would change the paint color. He is obviously stressed by that color change in his environment and I seriously doubt that he will "get used to it" or "adjust",
