First baby pastel

BARSaintPete May 25, 2005 05:56 PM

Just thought we'd share a pic of the first baby to hatch this season. Lucky for us it turned out to be a pastel female. Now we just have to wait for the other 10 eggs from this clutch to hatch out. The waiting game's killing me. So far it looks like the pastel ratio is good.

She looks really clean. No smudges or dark flecks anywhere. Just clean color. I would bet she will be a stunning pastel as she gets older. What line is she? Good luck with the rest.

We believe it's Nerd line but not 100%. We got the male on a trade and he told us it was Brian Sharp line which someone else told us was originally Nerd line. So who knows. I actually want to call him an Amir/sunset pastel lookalike. Very pretty blackback with lots of color and washouts.

Thanks for the comments

Hi,

She is very nice! She will look even better after first shed, easier to photograph. Take care.

Best Wishes,

Looks good! Congratulations. I'm still waiting for my pastel clutches to hatch. Should start soon.
