The dumb trick of the week award goes to the Oklahoma state legislator which took a rattlesnake into the state Capitol building in a sack. No one challenged him. He said he meant no harm. It was reported he had planned to put it in the pickup of one of his fellow legislators as a practical joke.
Yeah, some joke. This guy has a twisted sense of humor. Even a dead snake left in someone’s truck could cause a reaction that could result in a traffic accident. Someone could have been injured, or maybe even killed. Poisonous snakes, or any snake for that matter, can throw many people into a panic. Anyway, who’s going to take the time to check and see if it’s poisonous before bailing out?
I still can’t believe someone could walk into our state Capitol building with a live rattlesnake in a sack without being stopped.
