I would make every effort not to. Snakes have absolutely no social abilities, and are no more comfortable with another snake than alone. Even with snakes that will tolerate each other (Many will just attack each other, or in the case of kings, eat each other), the stress of never being alone and having a competitor always within a couple feet of themselves is detrimental.

Moreover, the price difference is negligible, and it'll be easier to clean two small enclosures than one big one. Health problems will be easier to spot and diseases won't spread as easily. Individual needs of each snake can be met more thoroughly, etc.

I didn't mean to say that they would hurt each other. I'm just saying that two snakes together can transmit disease faster, need larger (read: more expensive) enclosures, and can stress each other out.

IOW, two snakes together *could* be detrimental to the snakes. There are no ill-consequences to them being alone. It's an unnecessary risk, that's all.

ball pythons go good together as long as you are not puting a 5 foot in with a 17 inch baby.

i bought mine at the same time and they were the same size, mine don't mind each other if jacinda(my bp) is somewhere then beau(my other bp) usually goes where she is, it seems like they like to snuggle. i have 7 hiding places for them but they always go in this one cocoanut, which they both can't fit in, so the thing lifts up and their bodies are always exposed but they go in their together all the time.

its just like my two male corns, i got them at the same time and were the same size and they seem to snuggle with each other as well.

this is a picture of my 2 corns, i didn't have a picture of my bps together
