have you guys ever simulated nighttime to get viewing time of an active leo geo?

herpsaremylife May 25, 2005 07:47 PM

i did it and it worked well, then i make night-time daytime and you get to see the gecko a whole lot because its active during daytime. all i did was set the cages back to a covered window, wrap the back and sides with dark paper, then set on a gree, black, or red light and voilla! your geckos are active during day. only setback is you must keep a day-cycle at night or they will be dearly affectd health-wise, so keep it in a room you dont use, or dont mind light on during the night. l8r, nick.
