Not a kingsnake pic, but a neat pic IMO

Sean May 25, 2005 07:48 PM

Got a new camera recently and I've been playing around with all the settings. Anyway, went out on Sunday afternoon and found several juvenile Copperheads here in N Florida. Here are some pics.

Hopefully I'll have some neat pics of the kings in my collection soon.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I wish I could have some. I've always had a soft spot for copperheads. Too bad my I'm unable to keep them where I live. Broadbands are to die for. Thanks for the pics Sean.

Thanks Brandon. I really like those Broad Banded specimens as well. They have such a nice contrast!

very nice pics, love the view of the pits! all the pics need are some floridana or getula sneaking up in the background...(no not really...).
what camera did you purchase? looks like it will serve you well especially out in the field.

Thanks Dave! I got a Canon Rebel 300D...6.3 megapixel. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the functions but I'm really enjoying myself as I learn more and more how to use it.

Why do you do this to me? I am SOOOOO tempted to get a Copperhead. They are such neat animals.

But, alas, with children in my house I know it will never be (I would NEVER NEVER NEVER forgive myself if something happened).

I did this because I knew you would be so tempted! They are definitely one of the most beautiful venomous snakes we have here in the states. And I like the exotic look they have. Reminds me of a Fer de Lance.
