here in the problem...

I have an Adult Biak and he is literally insane. He is about 4.5ft long and he bites at anything and everything. I want to get rid of him. Not really get rid, but trade him in to a pet store or something, or sell it to someone who is not scared of the aggressiveness. I went to my local pet store and they said they would buy it from me, but this is where the problem starts. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET IT OUT OF ITS ENCLOSURE! When I open the sliding door it won't do much, but once I lift my hand he hesitates ever so slightly. I don't know how to get him out without striking me. I don't have a hook, and its not like I can ask the pet store guy to come to my house and take it. I need help. I don't want to get bitten by this dude. First off, I'm not a really good snake handler, probably because I don't really handle my snakes, and second, he is MEAN MEAN MEAN. Can anyone give me some ideas?

How is your cage setup? Do you have removable perches? I have a few ideas but need more info about the setup. What type of cage? How large? Sliding glass, hinged door, or tub?

My first suggestion would be to use a hook. Second would be to mist him good and place a towel or cloth over him. Keep tabs on where his head is at and try to gently grab restrain his head so you can unwrap him from the perch, if it's not removable. It would be wise to have an extra set of hands to unwrap him from you're hands and arms after you have removed him from the cage. Place him in a pillow case or snake bag with a full sheet of newspaper wadded up in the bottom. This will give him something to hold onto while in the bag and should make him feel a little more secure. Good luck.

Removable perches are key! Brandon gave you some great ideas. May I ask what you were expecting when you bought a grown Biak?
