Chameleon problem

I have a pair of vailds and put my female in with the male Hes Not going after her. She ready and keeps bumping him and trying to get him to do his thing but he just keeps moveing away. Can anyone help.

Your male may be stressed by something or sick. Usually they are interested in females who shows up in their territory. Sometimes the female is more aggressive than the male and can intimidate him. We would need to know alot more about how your animals are set up, their ages, health condition etc. to even guess. You can't force them...if one is not ready they won't mate.

If she's "bumping" him, then I suspect she's not receptive and
he's staying away from her because she' not receptive.

Is she dark colored in the background? Does she gape or hiss at
him? Does she sway? Is the "bumping" kinda like she's lunging at
him?

I would separate them and try again in a few days.
