i need to find a way to mount my lizards basking light in her cage because the way its set up now is not producing enough heat for her . Any suggestions? heres a pic of the cage.

well can you just get a bulb with a higher rating? Mounting inside the tank could cause a hazard right? I'm still pretty new but this is what i would imagine.
I work with electrical a lot so if it is something that is ok to do i can tell you lots of ways to do it. Even ways that you could adjust the bulb heigth.
What materials are you cage built out of (perferably the top) and whats the watt rating on your bulb now? What surface temps are you getting? How much do you want to move the bulb down?

Looks like the top of the cage is wood. I would just mount the fixtures directly to ceiling of the cage. You can add some hardware cloth just below the fixtures if you are worried about your dragon getting close enough to touch the bulbs. Just make sure you have a way to change the bulbs, if you do this.
