Climbing High...nature is great

viper69 May 26, 2005 01:37 AM

So I was opening my Mossy setup, and my male is always curious about the lid opening up, the female not so much..But my male is definitely a certified escapee if I turned my back.

So this night I decided to do just that, I turned off the lights, except for a dim corner one, and just sat and watched. Low and behold my male decided to take a stroll hahah.

After about 10-15mins he had made his way to the highest point in the room, my stand for my snakes. But even better, the top of the stand wasn't good enough, he had to climb on top of the picture frame that was on the stand haha...always have to be high up, just like my veiled chameleon had done over a decade ago.

It was soooo cool watching him. I was shocked to see him crawl up the picture frame...that surprised me..I imagine if the lights were closer he would have done a flying hop towards the ceiling.

When I get this roll of film developed, I will post the pic of him sitting up there.

sounds like a fun little experiment. i also like to watch where they'll wander on their own( without an infinite hand walking in front of them)
