Painting the house

razordance May 26, 2005 08:08 AM

We're going to be painting the inside of the apartment, and were wondering what we should be doing to make sure that the fumes don't harm the animals. In addition to Ike, we have a python, rabbit, guinea pig, rat, cats and birds. Is it enough to remove animals from the room until the paint dries, or are there other precautions we should be taking? We'll most likely be using latex paint. Unfortunately, removing the animals from the place completely isn't possible, as we have nobody who would be willing or able to take them. Thanks in advance.

I recently paint my living room, it last for a full week. I used quality latex paint and my igg dont seem to have any problem with the smell. I do my best to open some window so as to help as much as possible. During that time my igg was in my kitchen, very next to the living room. I hope it goes well for you too.
