Are rubbermaid tubs sufficient, because thats what I use for my Chondros, and does anyone have pics of their setups. I'm sorry if this is a constant question you guys get sick of answering.

Mike,
....You are the first person I have heard of who keeps Chondros in rubbermaid tubs. What size do you use? Are they tall enough to put some furniture in the tub for your Chondros to climb on? I keep some of my smaller Rainbows in 36x16x6 inch tubs in a rack system. The rack system is the type that was the standard reptile rack before the plastic stuff got so popular. It was built by Matrix Vivarium Systems in Massachusetts and is made of heavy melamine. It is 5 tubs tall and has heat tape routed into the bottom at the back of each shelf. These tubs are not large enough for big adult Rainbow Boas. After the snakes get about 4.5 feet long I move them into 36 inch Vision cages and 48 inch melamine box cages.
Jeff

I use the same size you stated in your post. Sure, I have all kinds of perches and furniture in there. Rubbermaid tubs are recommended and make a perfect habitat but most like to display their snakes in vision, or HS cages. Thanks for the reply
