Wax worms

NateW. Jul 12, 2003 07:54 PM

Could someone maybe post some info on wax worms and how to culture them. how big are they? i always thought they were too big to feed to dart frogs, but i need some thing to fatten up my frogs.
Thanx
nate

I've never tried wax worms with darts, but if you are looking to fatten up your frogs quickly you might want to try termites. My frogs eat those things until they look like they're gonna pop! I've heard that they contain a substantial amount of fat, but I'm not certain.

You can try and find some lesser wax worms. they are the right size for darts. I was supposed to meet a guy to get a culture, but he never showed up.
