I have an emergency situation. My stupid stupid neighbor across the street decided to buy a pair of red eared sliders for his small children, then realized it was not a good idea. I asked the father about the care of these turtles, and all he knew was they ate iceburg lettuce. OMG!! He had absolutly no idea what it took to care for thesed little creatures. Not only that, he is in the process of moving. On top of all this, his b!@#ch of an ex wife almost ended up killing them by hitting them with her car! (don't ask, and thank goodness they are ok) I took them from them because I knew if I didn't they would end up being neglected. Im in no position to set up and care for aquatic turtles. I already have a zoo to care for. The turtles are 4 inches long. I live in the Seattle area, and need someone very very experianced in pond turtles, especially RESers.
Sincerely, B. Mitchell
