They 're available occasionally.
There was one in the classifieds recently (1-2 weeks ago).
I believe it came from N.E.R.D.
As for price I believe it was around 2800.00.

Yeah, there have been two adult cb males that came up for sale in the last two months or so, and last year I saw cb babies for sale on kingsnkae also. Tey are out there, and about 2500 is what juvies run for, and adult males, 2800 . I would imagine a female is VERY expensive, probably pushing 3500-4000. THe problem is they are indangerd in the wild, so they arent imported anymore, and with an 18 month incubation, one clutch a year, and a 1.5 year maturity rate, they are not very common. But they are absolutly beautiful, but there are some absolutly gorgeous melleri out there too, who are just as big and cool (and I think just as beautiful) for a fraction of the cost.

A slight correction Anthony. Parsoni are not listed on the CITES appendices any differently than other Malagasy chams (except the little armored cham). They are not formally classified as "endangered" which would put them on a different appendix list in terms of trade. For some years now Madagascar has had an export ban imposed on them by the CITES directorate for most of their endemics. There are quotas for some species, but not all. Yes, they may be rarer in the wild due to habitat loss, but so are many other less well known species such as willsi and bifidus, globifer, Parsoni cristifer, balteatus, malthe, antimena, etc.
