How long have you had the tegu? When was the last time it had a bowel movement? What is your tegus regular diet? What is the ambient temp and the basking temp? What is the humidity level? What kind of bedding/substrate are you using? Do you feed it inside the enclosure or outside? Have you seen it eat and swallow anything besides food?

If this has only been a day or two, I'd just soak the tegu is some warm water and hope that it has not injested something. If it lasts longer then a couple days I would take the tegu to the vet.

Thanks,
I feed her out of her cage. I did up size the size of the mouse she ate. Her substrate is cypresss mulch. her basking temp is like 105 and her humidity is at about 65-70 percent humidity. Its been like 3 days until a bowel movement. She does pea though.

Sounds to me like time for a vet trip. Especially if your tegu is straining and nothing is coming out except pee. i have a tegu who eats rounded pebbles if he can find them, and he was blocked by one for days. He finally passed it on his own, much to his relief. At the vet's they can x-ray him to see if he is blocked. I talked my local dog and cat vet into doing the x-ray so I wouldn't have to drive for hours. I restrain the tegu by letting him crawl into the sleeve of a down coat (a sweatshirt would work) and the vet technician can hold him still easily on the x-ray machine by holding closed the ends of the sleeve at his nose and tail. He lies totally still.

Good luck.
