I have a normal bearded dragon that i have had for months i have not had any problems with him in a while but right now he is not eating. i have been giving him some crickets 2times a day and recently he stopped eating those so i tried wax worms and meal worms he ate a couple of those yesterday but all day he has not had anything to eat all day today and he has been pooping can anyone helpme. His beard has also been black allmost all day.

1 - don't feed mealworms they can't digest the shells and you'll have more problems with him. Have you had him to a vet for a fecal and a checkup? Sounds like it may be parasitic. Also what are your basking and cool temps (surface)?

well he basks on a log it get about 100degrees in the hottest point and about 84 in the coolest he is on newspaper for now. His front feet seem to be a little swollen

Ok, his temps seem alright. Swollen feet throw a whole nother twist into it. Does he have a good uvb light and get ca and vit supps with his food? I still wouldn't rule out parasites, have you had a fecal done recently?

I have not done a test but his UV light is new so i would rule that out. i took him to a petstore (a petstore that has helped me out with other problems before and is a reliable one) they said that he is sick of the crickets and needed a change. I also have gotten busy latley (still holding him about an hour or so aday) but have been taking him out side for a couple of weeks now. I change the newspaper every day.
