Are chinese fire belly newts the same things as japanese fire belly newts?

Nope,
Chinease and Japanese are different! There's the ovious difference, ones from China, the other from Japan, then there's other differences like size, roughness, etc... Sorry forget details with that. Chinease I've heard are the most common of the fbn's, though I have a Japanese.
