Intermediate Sheds

I'm just curious how many of you have had females who had an intermediate shed (in between the Post Ovulation shed and the birth). If you have, what were the results? Did she go on to produce a healthy litter or were the results less than desirable?

again, I don't have my records here at work, but my normal
female (she was 14 yrs at the time) had a shed half-way thru
gestation, she went on to produce 34 healthy, 1 still born (choked on the umbilical), 1 premie and 1 slug.
