I have a very confused gecko!!

Okay here's a weird thing to walk in on. Tonight when I went to check on my leos I found one of my two year old females (proven breeder) "copulating" with another female. I recently removed a very agressive female from a forty gallon tank with four other females, and this gecko seems to be the new leader of the pack. I'm thinking this is just a sign of dominance toward the other females. Has anyone else seen this or do i have a really confused gecko?

I had this happen to one of my girls a few years back. She was housed with a bunch of females and I'd removed the male because I wanted to breed them to a different male in the spring. My girl, Catundra, decided to step up to the plate. She beat up the new male when I introduced him and started breeding with the females. When I put her back with the original male, he reacted to her as if she were another male. Catundra developed hemipenes, but no pores. She will readily breed with any female I put in with her, but all their eggs are duds. She has never produced eggs or ovulated since undergoing her transformation. Prior to the change, she was a normal female ans I still have a couple of her offspring.
