I hatched out 2 more satanics wednesday and thursday night.

this seasons total is:

0.0.4 satanics
1.0.0 ebanaui

And I've finally joined the Pietschmanni club. I just bought 1.3 pietschmanni, a bit of a pinch but from what I heard from some little birdies, madagascar is closed until september. I'll do some recon on this one.

Thats awesome jason on the phantasticus. With all the captive breeding that has been going on it makes me hopefull that this genus might actually still have a chance. Good luck with the pietschmanni too. They are my favorite species but of course I'm biased since I haven't kept any of the other species. I can't wait for some more of my pietschmanni eggs to hatch, their due to in a few weeks.

Thanks matt. I don't think we really need to worry about the state of the genus at the moment. Lets wait and see what happens with any potential studies. I think that as far as the pet trade is concerned, we might have a chance that they will be available soon. I will be keeping all of my babies back this year to see if they grow into what their parents are. The parents of all 4 satanics are huge, don't know who the fathers are as they were not with any males in my care when they laid their eggs. Hopefully they will be biggins'.

Do you have any photos of your enclosures? I'd like to see how you have been keeping yours for reference. I know you've got some success so you enclosure must be set up well.
