Moving. Need suggestions, please.

I bought a new house, it's just on the other side of town.

I need to move my entire snake collection, including eggs. Normally, when I get a critter, I like to have an enclosure set up and constant (as far as temps and whatnot) for a couple days before placing the animal in it. However, I do not have enough cages to do that. I think they'll be OK, as the weather here is warm now.

I am concerned about moving my eggs. They are in plastic containers in a small incubator. What would be the best way to move them? Moving day is just a few days before hatchling due date.

Worry, worry, worry..............so much to worry about. We are very excited, though, for our new home!! YAY!!

Thanks for any thoughts.

I moved a clutch to a new home that was 6 hours away, keep it as is and just do it as quickly as possible and they should be fine, mine were (andean milksnake eggs). make sure you dont expose it to any temp extremes and you should be jsut fine.

I moved the whole incubator on my lap, as carefully as possible. The trip was short, so temps didn't fluctualte. However, they did decide thatt it would be a good time to hatch. Within a few hours after the move, the eggs began to pip. All survived hatching. (But one managed to get up in the thermostat and died.) A couple are a bit premature, but are doing well so far. Thanks for your response.
