How long until they die of impaction?

I just had two of my eggs hatch and now have 2 new beautiful cresteds. One, I fear, may have eaten some of the vermiculite I had them incubating in. How long until I will find out if this is the case?

i would expect it to take less than a day for a small crested.

I had this happen not to long ago, It took about 2 days

take it to the vet immediately and see what can be done about it.
