I've heard they have a higher slug ratio.

TIA.

Alex... Although i have heard that there is a greater chance of producing all slugs and deformities, due to the already present inbreeding of the albino lines, i have also heard of people having perfectly healthy litters from albino x albino mating. PERSONALLY i wouldnt risk the price and time, i would buy some 100% het females and an albino male from a good breeder (HUMMMM i think I have some for sale...just kidin!) and do with that what you can. I wouldnt risk the slugs and deformities, but i have no proof either way. Just wanted to help share an opinion.

Sincerley,

As long as they are not too closely related, I wouldn't see a problem...

Most deformities come from extreme inbreeding, and most slugs and deaths come from a little secret Jeremy Stone revealed here not too long ago...

Something about the albino females not being able to thermoregulate or absorb heat as much, so they must be kept just a couple degrees higher during gestation..

Just my $.02

take care, joe
