I have read in the past all the steps you should take before trying to breed burmese pythons. I own a male and a female burms that i keep seperated. Today i got curious and put them in the same cage together just to see how the aould get along. A few hours later, the male is all over the female with their tails joined. I have been feeding them both regularly and keeping them at normal temperatures. What are the chances of my female becoming pregnant? If she does get pregnant, and does lay eggs will there be any problems with them hatching because i never put them through the different cycles previous to breeding? Any information is appreciated. Thanks

I imagine there is a pretty good chance she's gonna give you some eggs. I didnt change anything with my burms and they bred just fine. I dont think burms need to be cooled..i think they get ri's if you do.

Yea I think you would get some eggs, Congratulations !!

I don't think you will have any trouble with them, I never did anything to mine and I keep feeding till like two before I put them together. You should be fine.

Are they normals? just asking.

The male is albino and the female is normal. I wasnt really trying to breed them but now that it is happening i am excited to see what happens. I hope everything works out good. It is now going on the third day that i have them together and havent seen them "together" since the fist day. I guess we will see what happens.
