Keeping Knightanoles in pairs?

CokeOfMan May 28, 2005 06:52 AM

Is it possible to keep Knightanoles(Anolis Equestris) in pairs? I've heard different oppinions about this, but it seems as they only mate during spring so shouldn't it be ok then? Also, I have a fairly large terrarium, around 400 gallons if I remeber correctly and was planing to put one pair there.
Personal experiences on the subject are appreciated.

Thanks In Advance

An enclosure that size should be fine. In fact, generally anything above 55 gallons will work.

You may want to invest in 2 basking spots that aren't next to each other.

Hmm, the basking spot may be a bugger. I have a part(I think around 60x80cm) of the top covered in mesh, and planned to put to UV-tubes and spotlights there on each side, and one/a few branch(es) under each light, would this work or would there be teerritorial conflict?
