Kind of looks like the one someone here on the forum has. Pretty neat looking if you ask me!

Ya it looks like but the purple tong and none blue ail gives it away as indicus, a very nice indicus that is. The bewani doreanus comes from the forbidden half of PNG, they are unlikely to be exported sins the september11 drama, the reason seems to be that many alkaidas took shelter in those mountains making them totally unsafe, this is what was reported to me! varanus finshi is an other varanids affected by this situation.

I have so many pics of monitors, I don't remember when I got this one. Almost looks like it could be the same mang but the one on your post looks smaller to me. I'd buy it (either one) if I were in the market for more monitors, Credit for this awesome picture goes to JOE
Thanks for sharing!

WOW...is that a recent picture? Do you have more full body shots? What do you think my chances are of pairing this animal up? I don't see many like them! Any idea of their typical adult length?

It belongs to Guamturtle You'll have to ask them. One exceptional monitor, I hope it gets the chance to breed.
Goodluck!! -H-

It looks like an Indicus to me. I think the guy is "misinformed" calling it Doreanus. Either way its an awesome looking monitor.
